Boat and equipment
Include the engine, trailer, electronics and other equipment expected in the transaction.
MARINE FINANCING
Ontario boating plans deserve financing that fits the purchase.
From a fishing boat or pontoon to a larger cruiser, we help you explore the financing behind your next season on the water.
Start with a payment estimate, compare a second scenario or work backwards from your budget. When you are ready, our team is here to help.
PLAN THE COMPLETE BOAT PURCHASE
Include the engine, trailer, electronics and other equipment expected in the transaction.
Use both figures together so your estimate reflects the trade’s net effect.
Compare different amounts and see how they change the estimated amount financed.
Review the repayment structure as well as the payment before making a decision.
BOAT WARRANTY & SERVICE PROTECTION
A manufacturer warranty and an optional extended service agreement are different. Before choosing additional protection, compare the existing coverage with the service agreement being offered and understand exactly when each begins and ends.
Ask which engine, drive, electrical and onboard systems are specifically included—and which components are excluded.
Confirm how the contract treats the hull, gel coat, electronics, trailer, accessories and failures related to corrosion or water intrusion.
Review maintenance duties, deductibles, claim authorization, repair locations, transferability and cancellation terms.
Important: Warranty and service-agreement coverage varies by unit and provider. The signed contract—not this summary—determines eligibility, exclusions, limits and claim requirements. Optional protection should be chosen deliberately after its cost and terms are disclosed.
BOAT FINANCING QUESTIONS
Yes. Use DealerPlan’s planning tools to compare a purchase price, down payment and payment frequency before starting the application.
Include the complete expected transaction in your planning estimate. Final financing structure depends on the purchase details and lender review.
Enter the expected trade allowance and balance owing separately, then confirm both figures with the dealership.
Payment estimates are illustrations and are not an offer of credit. Rates, terms and approval are subject to lender criteria and transaction details.
FOR MARINE DEALERS
