An RV can involve several warranties from different manufacturers. An optional service agreement should be reviewed against the coverage already provided for the vehicle, structure, appliances and installed systems.
What is included
Ask how the agreement treats the chassis or towable frame, appliances, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and slide systems.
How coverage overlaps
Confirm the start date, term and relationship between the manufacturer warranties and any optional extended protection.
Claims on the road
Review deductibles, repair authorization, eligible facilities, travel-related benefits, transferability and maintenance requirements.
